The cottage was beautifully decorated and had a lot of character. The location was excellent for exploring the town center, Abbey Gardens, and Cathedral. We loved being able to stroll through the old town and experience its charm. the beds were incredibly comfortable, giving us a great night's sleep.
The kitchen worktops were sticky and some cooking dishes and saucepans were not clean. We even found a dirty sock on the settee, which was quite off-putting.

The location of the cottage was perfect for exploring the town center, gardens, and cathedral. The old world charm combined with the vibrant new shopping area was a delightful experience. Additionally, the cottage was well-maintained with high-quality fittings and fixtures. It offered a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.
The stairs in the cottage were narrow, steep, and had limited headroom, which made it difficult for older individuals or those with mobility issues. Accessing the third-floor bedroom was a challenge.

Convenience of being able to book local restaurants and wine bars in advance. Close proximity to the cinema and Abbey Hotel for entertainment. A quiet lane added to the peaceful atmosphere. The cottage was beautifully presented and had comfortable beds with soft towels and lots of hot water. The host had thoughtfully provided milk, tea, coffee, cereal, chocolate, cookies. The location was perfect, right in the center of town, and we were able to find free parking nearby.
The cottage was quite small, with low ceilings that resulted in a few bumped heads. the dining table was only suitable for two people, making it difficult for a group of four to enjoy breakfast together indoors.
